| Grandparents are the luckiest people in the
world! They can provide expanded support and encouragement to their grandchildren
and use their breadth of experience as parents to do things differently (or the same) as
they did when they were parents the first time around. |
| For me, I only had one grandparent. Grandma. She
lived in another state but we visited her twice a year and called her once a week. She
wrote to me and I wrote back and she always remembered my birthday. She was the best
grandparent a girl could have! Just because a grandparent lives far away doesn't mean that
a meaningful relationship cannot be established! Our's was the best! |
